Ryde District Heritage Centre
HRS is very grateful to Lee Byrne and Ryde Townscape Heritage Initiative for the grant which enabled the society to restore the fabric of the basement of the Royal Victoria Arcade. Excellent news was the arrival of Hovertravel, who agreed to sponsor a display in the centre, and allow us access to archives and models of early hovercraft. Hovertravel also made a generous financial donation.
Raffles
HRS is very grateful to businesses around Ryde who generously donated vouchers for the Christmas raffles, and especially to Bombay Palace, for their generous donation to the raffle at the St Patrick’s Day Ceilidh event, in 2011.
