Saturday 6th JuneOn Saturday 6th June, we mark the anniversary of D-Day, one of the most significant events of the Second World War and a moment of immense courage, sacrifice and determination.
To honour those who served, The Museum of Ryde is offering FREE admission to all military veterans and current serving personnel. Please bring proof of service upon arrival.Visitors can explore our extensive displays covering Ryde and the Isle of Wight during both the First and Second World Wars, including a remarkable collection of artefacts, photographs and memorabilia from the Isle of Wight Rifles and other local military units.
The Museum of Ryde is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30am – 4:00pm, with last admission at 3:15pm.

– Adults: £5.00
– Children (8–16 years): £1.00
– Under 8s: Free
We also offer a range of children’s activities, making the museum an enjoyable visit for the whole family.
Even better, your admission ticket remains valid for 14 days, allowing unlimited return visits during that period. Annual memberships are also available for those wishing to support the museum and enjoy unlimited access throughout the year.
