On 29th April 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming documentary photographer Ed Alcock, who is currently visiting Ryde from Paris. During his visit, he spent time with our former volunteers, award-winning children’s author Jo Cooper and Mr Alan Brading, engaging in a fascinating conversation about Ryde’s rich history and heritage. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the town’s past through shared stories and experiences.
